Narrative of what we did
NSN demolished all existing static signage on the 42nd St & 7th Ave building elevations to prepare for the new static and digital signage. NSN repurposed the existing spline rails on the exterior of the building were, which were not demo’d, to support the new structural support systems for the (5) new signs. NSN surveyed the spline rails, fabricated each support structure, erected each support structure with our fleet of mobile cranes, and finally installed each sign face from the bottom up by assembling the component pieces. NSN’s electrical team ran conduit and wires from the a distribution point within the building and installed a series of transformers, feeder panels and branch circuits within the sign structures to distribute power to each sign. NSN fabricated and installed decorative cladding enclosures per the Owner’s specifications and finally commissioned the LED displays through a joint effort with SNA.
