Narrative of what we did
Narrative: A little bit of Long Island history, The Jones Beach East Bath House dating back to 1929 wherein the original Time & Tide bronze tower clocks were installed as a nod to the popular Art Deco architecture of the time. The bath house was a central gathering for both water fun, dining and live music, at the time considered an entertainment mecca. It’s said in the late 60’s many of the ornamental features of the building including the clocks were removed. After years of deterioration the building was closed in 2009. Over the course of two days, our team completed the re-install of the tower clocks as part of the 100-million-dollar revitalization by the state to once again bring the facility back to an entertainment hub for Long Islanders and its visitors. Side note, we also put up the entrance monument at the front the building and a few wayfinding signs on the property to guide visitors around the facility.
